Allergen information last updated: September 2026
The tables below list, for every dish on the IRO Sushi menu, the allergens it contains and any it may contain. They cover the 14 allergens recognised under UK law: celery, cereals containing gluten, crustaceans, eggs, fish, lupin, milk, molluscs, mustard, tree nuts, peanuts, sesame, soya and sulphites (sulphur dioxide).
Please read before ordering. “May contain” means the allergen is not an ingredient of the dish, but the dish is prepared in a kitchen where that allergen is used. Because our kitchens use shared preparation areas and equipment, no dish can be guaranteed 100% free from traces of any allergen. If you have a food allergy or intolerance, please tell a member of staff before you order and we will talk you through how your dish is prepared.

Additional Allergen Information
Cross-contamination
All IRO Sushi food is prepared in kitchens where allergens are present and where preparation areas, equipment and storage are shared. We take every reasonable precaution, but we cannot guarantee that any dish is completely free from any allergen.
Asking for an ingredient to be left out (for example, no mayo or no sesame) removes that ingredient from your dish, but it does not guarantee the dish will be free from traces of the related allergen.
Soy sauce, gluten and rice
Our soy-based sauces are made with wheat, which is why most sushi and many hot dishes are listed as containing gluten and soya. Please check the sauce served with your dish, as well as the dish itself.
Raw and lightly cured fish
Many of our dishes contain raw or lightly cured fish and shellfish. Eating raw or undercooked fish may increase the risk of foodborne illness, particularly for pregnant women, young children, older people and anyone with a weakened immune system.
Delivery orders
For delivery orders we cannot guarantee that your food will not come into contact with other allergens on its way to you. Couriers may carry other IRO Sushi orders containing different allergens, and orders from other restaurants at the same time. This is an additional risk that is outside our control.

- Check this page before ordering, because recipes and suppliers can change.
- If you have a severe allergy, or have been told to avoid even trace amounts of an allergen, please consider carefully whether our food is suitable for you, as we cannot offer an allergen-free environment.
